Mites of Honeybees and Native Bees

Mites…we know honeybees in the US are susceptible to varroa mites and tracheal mites. We also know that there are even more serious honey bee mites out there in the world, such as the tropilealaps mite, which is a problem for the Asian honeybee and that US apiary inspectors are carefully watching for. What you may not know is that there are all kinds of mites that impact bees , especially native bees (pollen mites for example).
