Wired wax foundation is a good choice when you don’t want to have to worry about wiring your own. Our foundation has a steel hook that fits behind the wedge in wedge top bar frames. Nine vertical crimped steel wires provide support and strength. We recommend adding cross wires in deep frames or using foundation pins for additional support. The 8 ½” foundation fits our 9 1/8” deep wedge top bar (WTB) grooved bottom bar (GBB) frames.
