Beekeeping is an activity that spans the generations. Having equipment that is properly sized for children who want to be involved in beekeeping was one of the issues we struggled with for our own children. So, we sought to have protective gear made especially for kids. Our children’s beekeeping gloves are a miniaturized version of our adult professional beekeeping gloves. They’re made with a grade A sheepskin for the hands and a cotton sleeve. There is a built-in vent around the wrist which will help keep hands cooler (and you will find our double mesh is much heavier than what is found in most competing gloves). It is important for children’s to be able to feel what you they are doing while wearing gloves, and these gloves give them that ability. The Keystone thumb design of our gloves provides a better range mobility compared to gloves with wing or straight thumbs. Available in 5XSmall, 4XSmall, 3XSmall, 2XSmall, Small, Medium and Large sizes. Some women find that the child’s glove is a nicer fit for them.
