Plastic foundation is the most durable foundation available. Plastic foundation is rigid, does not require reinforcement such as wire or pins, and is impervious to wax moths and gnawing by bees. Our plastic foundation is made is the USA and has a double coat of beeswax on the surface of the foundation. Foundation has perforated bottom corners which can be removed to facilitate bee communication. Comes in black (which helps new beekeepers see the eggs in the cells much more easily).
