Wood frames with wedged top bars are the frames to use when you are using wax foundation. Our wood frames are made of pine and feature a single groove and a removable wedge cut into the top bar, a single groove cut into the bottom bar, predrilled frame wire holes, and beveled frame ears. In addition, our bottom bar is much thicker providing a long lasting, durable frame. The 9 1/8” frame fits our 9 5/8” deep hive bodies.
