Description
Our feeder features a finger jointed box with handholds on all four sides. The screened ladder system in the end of the feeder prevents bees from drowning in the syrup. Set the feeder on top of the colony, fill with syrup, cover with the inner cover, and replace the top. It is important that all upper entrances be closed when using a top feeder. Robbing bees entering from the top and fighting is often the cause for excessive drowning. Aluminum pan is easily replaced if necessary. Other pans of the beekeeper’s choosing, up to 2.5″ deep, can also be used in the feeder.
