Terms and Conditions

Payment

We accept check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. If your credit card is declined, we will contact you to try to correct the payment.  If payment is not corrected, we will unfortunately have to cancel your order.   Returned checks are subject to a $30.00 fee.

Any overdue credit amounts are subject to a 1.5% monthly charge. If not paid after the first statement cycle, a $10 per month billing charge will be assessed in addition to the 1.5% monthly charge. Payment for merchandise is invoiced in United States Dollars.

We reserve the right to pass non-payment claims to third party collection agencies and legal means for remittance.  Purchases are subject to the laws of the state of Wisconsin and the United States of America and its subsequent international treaties with other countries and organizations.

State Sales Tax 

When applicable, we are required to collect sales tax by law. Exemptions for sales tax will be allowed if you have either a signed Certificate of Resale or an Exemption Certificate. The tax forms vary by state, please call for details. Law requires that these certificates are on file before any tax exemption can be allowed.

Prices 

We will invoice all orders on the basis of prices which are in effect at the time of shipment. We reserve the right to change catalog prices if we deem it necessary. Please feel free to confirm prices at any time. Capital Bee Supply is not responsible for typographical errors. In the event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Capital Bee Supply reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Out of Stock Items

We try to maintain an inventory of products offered on the web site so there is no delay in shipping your order to you in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we cannot control distribution and availability of the products that we carry and occasionally we will not have an item in stock even though it is listed on the website as available. We will communicate with you regarding any out-of-stock items that may be ordered.

Special Orders and Custom Work

Special orders must be accompanied by a deposit of no less than 50% with the balance due prior to shipment. Some special orders may be subject to a cancellation charge. Call 608-444-1493 for details regarding what constitutes a special order.

Free Shipping 

Free shipping applies to most orders placed from this catalog over $150, before taxes, and sent standard ground service within Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota. Custom items not shown in this catalog may be excluded from the free shipping offer. Some items are excluded from the free shipping offer and are noted as such in ther detailed product descriptions. The items included/excluded from the offer are subject to change without notice. Due to the ever-rising cost of outbound shipping, any order with backordered item(s) may be held until the backordered item(s) arrives.

Freight charges

You pay all freight costs unless otherwise stated or agreed upon. Next day, 2 day and 3 day air shipments are available at an additional cost. Freight cost is calculated by dimensional weight, call 608-444-1493 for a freight quote.

Additional Freight Charges

Package carriers impose additional charges if they have to make changes to your shipping information after the order has been processed. To avoid these charges, please ensure that you provide accurate information and/or confirm shipping information at the time of your phone, web or mail-in order.

Damaged Freight 

All mer­chan­dise is shipped “F.O.B. Shipping Point”. This is a legal term that means all merchandise becomes your property as soon as we give it to the freight carrier. The freight carrier is responsible for complete and safe delivery of your merchandise. It is your responsibility to inspect the merchandise when it is delivered. If the freight carrier fails to deliver your merchandise in good condition, it is your responsibility to contact us so that we can file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Certain merchandise such as glass is fragile by nature and difficult to ship.  Glass is shipped at your risk because shipping companies will not cover damage to glass.

Undeliverable Orders

If we ship an order to you and it is returned to us as undeliverable you will be liable for any return shipping charges we incur. If you wish to have the order re-shipped you will incur shipping charges even on “free shipping” eligible orders. If your order is returned and not re-shipped at your request you will incur the restocking fee of 20%. For these reasons please carefully check your shipping address at the time of ordering. If you notice an error after your order is placed, please call 608-444-1493 to inform us immediately. We may be able to correct the error but cannot guarantee that the error can be corrected if the package has shipped.
Also please note that orders placed with different billing and shipping addresses may be verified by Capital Bee Supply staff by telephone prior to processing.

Warranty

Capital Bee Supply warrants its equipment to be free of defects in material and workmanship. If within 30 days of purchase you feel an item to be defective, please return the merchandise along with your sales receipt and Capital Bee Supply will refund the purchase price. Warranty does not cover damage to equipment arising from alteration, abuse or use of product for other than its intended purpose.

Liability

Because conditions of use are beyond our control, we make no warranty or representation, express or implied, except that all products conform to the description provided by the manufacturer on sale literature or product labels. Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid.

Product Suitability

Many states and municipalities have local codes and regulations governing sales, construction, installation and/or use of products for certain purposes. We attempt to assure that our products comply with such codes; we cannot guarantee compliance to such codes in every situation, nor can we be responsible for how the product is installed or used. Before you purchase and use a product, please review both the product application and local codes and regulations. Be sure that the product, its installation, and its use will comply with such codes.

Publishing Errors

We are not responsible for typographical or photographic errors that may appear in any material published by Capital Bee Supply. We retain the right to make adjustments or corrections due to changing market conditions, product discontinuations or typographical or photographic errors in products.

Returned Merchandise

Please call if you need to return an item. We will accept returns under the following conditions:

Conditions for returns:

  1. Call for a return authorization.
  2. Item must be in original carton or packaging and in good condition.
  3. Item must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  4. The original receipt must accompany the item.
  5. Buyer pays the return shipping costs. Return shipping costs may be refunded at our discretion.

Limitations:

  1. In most cases, a 20% restocking fee will be charged.
  2. To insure purity, we cannot exchange or offer refunds on foundation.
  3. We cannot accept returns on books, videos, medications, chemicals, bee feeds, personal care products and custom printed labels.

Exception: If we erred, we will give full refund.
